    We’ll provide a training plan to get you from 0 to 26 miles. The last .2 is on you!

    Or run the LA Half Marathon - 13.1 miles of fun!

    We’ll be organizing weekly team training runs in Los Angeles, plus info sessions with training and distance running specialists.

    You don’t need to be fast. You just need to bring your heart.

    Fundraise

    Not Today Cancer is an official charity partner of the Los Angeles Marathon.

    You fundraise $850 to support children’s cancer research. This covers your entry into the 2027 LA Marathon (or Half Marathon) and your team NTC limited edition race shirt. We’ll provide fundraising support, graphics, tips and a strategy.

The Story

Before he got sick, Mason used to ride his bike next to JJ as she ran. He used to ask, “Mama, when can I run the marathon with you?”

JJ’s answer was always, “When you are 16 you can run the LA Marathon with me.”

In 2026 Mason would have turned 16 years old. So we called our first marathon with Not Today Cancer “Mason’s Marathon”. We ran it with him alongside us.

We do this to raise money for childhood cancer research, to support every child out there like Mason.

And this year we’d like you to join us.
