7:30am - Race Tent opens for bib and timing chip pick up. Childcare opens.
8:30am - Race Begins
10:00am - Award Ceremony
Check In
Pick up your bib and timing chip the day before - time / location TBD
If someone else is picking up your bib and chip you will need to send them with this COMPLETED WAIVER.
Check in on Race Day - for Pre-Registered Participants - will be available at the Check-In Tent. Please allow plenty of time to pick up your timing chip and bib. Check In will close 15 minutes before the start of the race.

Fundraising
The Beverly Hills Mayor will deliver an award to the top fundraiser!
We encourage fundraising for groups and individuals. The NTC 5k is the biggest fundraiser of the year for us. This is a way to make an even bigger impact for all the children we are trying to save.
Fundraising will continue after the Race, but the event is a great opportunity to drive support.
Some employers offer matching donations for charity fundraising.

Can I walk?
Absolutely. We will encourage the runners who are most interested in their race timing to start in the first wave. Beverly Hills Police and Race officials will make sure the course is safe for slower runners and walkers.
Childcare at the Race
Green Beginning Community Preschool has offered to provide childcare for little ones so that their grown ups can participate in the race! Childcare will be provided at the event site: Beverly Vista Middle School.

Registration Pricing
Register soon! The registration price will increase as we get closer to the race.
Discounts are available for children under 12. Children under 5 are free.
Registration includes bib, timing chip, medal and special edition Race t-shirt. (While supplies last! If you register too late it’s possible we will be sold out of some t-shirt sizes - should that happen you are welcome to pick up unclaimed t-shirts at the end of the race.)

There are no age restrictions for this event. We ask that all children under 12 are accompanied by an adult while on the course. Other than this, we support everyone participating!

Strollers yes! Dogs are allowed on the course but not inside BHUSD grounds - so they will not be able to line up and cross the start / finish line. For that reason we recommend leaving the dog at home. For safety strollers will be asked to start in a wave near the back of the pack. Your time will not begin until you cross the start line.

If someone else is picking up your bib and shirt please send them with this COMPLETED WAIVER.
Everyone picking up a bib will be asked to sign for the items being picked up - bib, timing chip, and t-shirt. If you are a parent you can sign out the bibs for your children. If you are an adult you will need to sign the following waiver:
Pick up will be available the day before the race.
Or you can pick up before the race begins in the morning. Pick up will close 15 minutes prior to the start of the race. We encourage you to pick up your bib the day before to avoid a rush on race day morning.

Yes! We encourage everyone to participate and fundraise even if they cannot attend the race in person. Unfortunately you won’t be eligible for prizes, but we will send you a race t-shirt and collector’s medal and post your photo and time on our website. Please choose the “5k From Anywhere” option when you register.

Become a Green Marbles Fundraising Hero
The annual NTC 5k is the largest fundraising activity of the year for Not Today Cancer. Participants who help raise funds to support their race and support our organization allow us to fund life-saving research to save the lives of children with cancer.
When you register for the race you will be given the option to fundraise.
Fundraising Help
We are here to help! We have created a document with fundraising templates for email and social outreach. We are also here to assist if you would like to hold an event or a need custom solution.
Work together!
We encourage you to fundraise as a family or friend group - a little friendly competition goes a long way!
When you register for the race you can form a race group, you can fundraise and train together. Consider holding fundraising events like dinners, lemonade stands and office parties.

Not Today Cancer 1st Annual 5k
With our incredible city of Beverly Hills we have established an annual 5k event which will raise money for pediatric cancer research! September is not only Mason's birthday month, it is also Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month!
Kids are welcome to join the fun, this is about raising awareness, raising funds for research, and officially launching Not Today Cancer with a splash.
Race participants will receive a commemorative wristband, marking this 1st Annual Race.
